Phlebotomy Technician Course

Service Description

This course includes an advanced comprehensive hands-on training method. Each student will have the opportunity to perform a venipuncture blood draw during the training process. These draws will be performed under the supervision of the Phlebotomy Instructor in a classroom setting while gaining the confidence and skills you need to succeed in the Phlebotomy/Health Care industry. This course will consist of in-person lectures, discussion, and practical instructions for five weeks. Our practice test will be online. We will meet twice per week. One on One is available. Course Includes: HIPPA/Patient Rights and Privacy Introduction of Medical Terminology (Phlebotomy-related) Order of Draw Specimen Collection Lab and Theory/Live Sticks Universal Safety Precautions Patient Identification Phlebotomy Procedures/Specimen Processing 50-Phlebotomy Sticks and Skills Proper Vein Selection Requisition Forms Heel/Capillary Stick Upon completion, all students will receive a Certificate of Completion. You will be able to take your National Exam Test and obtain NHA License. The $200 NON-Refundable Registration fee will go towards tuition and if needed payment plans are available for the balance. Balance must be paid by the second week of class. You are required to attend class onsite. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED PPD Test Purple Scrub Set Upon successful registration a detailed confirmation will be emailed to you with the class location.
